I’m Tsedey, the face behind Elelta Bijoux. My name translates to ‘Springtime’ in Amharic, Ethiopian language.
My journey into jewellery-making began in 2002 after attending some courses at East Berkshire College. I then started making jewellery, sharing my creations with family and friends. In 2014, my husband and I moved to France and ran a craft shop and workshop. This transition transformed my passion into a fulfilling career. During quiet winter months, I taught classes, sharing my love for jewellery-making.
We moved to the town of Buckingham in September 2023 to be closer to family. I’m currently working from my studio at home and I’m always finding and exploring new ideas and techniques to enhance my jewellery-making experience. I do take commissions and I’m also hoping to give some classes in jewellery-making.
